A specialized training course on improved seed production and quality control of the targeted range shrub species was organized in the Al-Jouf research center in Saudi Arabia during the period from 20 to 24 June 2010. The course objective was to enhance and improve the capacity of Al Jouf researcher and personnel involved in seed production process of indigenous species.

The course was conducted at Seed Technology Unit (STU) which was established by ICARDA-APRP and NARS in Al-Jouf in 2005.  The course attended by 11 scientists and researcher from Saudi Arabia and covered subjects such as seed quality, Inspection and operation of processing machines and machine calibration for different species.
